Excel Guinea Pig Food with Blackcurrant & Oregano, 1.5kg

Burgess Guinea Pig Food with Blackcurrant & Oreganois the perfect way to ensure your guinea pig gets the highest quality nutrition. Guinea pigs need a high-fibre diet to maintain healthy digestion. The most effective way to ensure they get enough fibre is to feed them a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and hay. Pelleted and fortified food can also be provided, but should always be supplemented with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Made with natural ingredients, they are rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals and contain blackcurrant and oregano for a delicious taste. Guinea pig organic food also helps prevent selective feeding, keeping your guinea pig healthy and happy. Guinea pig food contains essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, necessary for skin and coat health. These nutrients help to improve skin and coat condition, reduce shedding and flaking, and improve the overall health of the guinea pig. One of the key components of a balanced diet for guinea pigs is antioxidant-rich food.

Antioxidants boost your guinea pig"s immune system and keep them healthy. Prebiotics are a type of fibre that promotes the growth of favourable bacteria in the gut, which in turn balances the digestive system. The fibre in the natural guinea pig food also promotes healthy digestion by adding bulk to the stool, making it easier to pass. Vitamin C is essential for Guinea Pigs, as they cannot synthesize it. It is needed for the maintenance of strong bones, teeth, and gums, as well as aiding in the absorption of other vitamins and minerals.

My senior guinea pigs love it!

I like the herby, rich smell of them; my guinea pigs love the taste - and they seem to appreciate that these nuggets are a bit smaller than the mint ones. Blackcurrants are rich in vitamin C and perhaps they need more of this as they age? In addition to getting it from plant sources that I feed them daily as snacks and treats.
