Having tried many, my GSD loves this bone and it has numerous nodules for cleaning his teeth and gums

Dangerous product!
Every time my dog chewed this product, instead of smoothly shredding like other products I have bought made of a similar material, this one became sharp! The chew went into razor like short spikes and cut my dog's gums. There was blood on the chew and the carpet where he was lying, I had to remove the chew and return it to the shop where they exchanged it for me. I believe they should be removed from the shelves.

I may have bought the wrong size. My dog loves it, but it ends up being very sharp after he has chewed it. It's very heavy and when he dropped it on my foot, I thought I'd broken a toe. I haven't had a chew on it myself so don't know how it tastes. It doesn't smell, which is a bonus. The price is outrageous, but it's lasting well.
